Some frequently asked questions about wedding dance lessons:

1How do lessons work?
Depending on which wedding dance package you choose will determine how many lessons we will need to book. Each of our packages is designed to accommodate enough time to get a basic to advance routine done. Lessons are booked according to your & your fiance's available times as well as our instructors and floor availability.
2Does private lessons mean we have the studio to ourselves?
Private lessons are one-on-one lessons with an instructor in which they can specially choreograph a routine to your dance. This doesn't particularly mean that you will be the only couple on the floor. These classes work very similarly to our private Latin & Ballroom classes where you share the floor with different couples, but not to worry your instructor will ensure your song gets played multiple times during your lesson. If you would prefer to have a private studio, you will need to speak to the admin staff to see when the studios will be quiet. This would normally be early afternoons during the week and possibly during the weekends.
3When are lessons taught?
Lessons are taught Monday-Friday from 12h00 to 21h00 and Saturdays 12h00-15h00.
4We have 2 left feet, can it be done?
That is why you come to us, we will show you how easy it is to dance.
5Can we practice in our wedding shoes?
Yes, you are welcome to, just be cautious that your new wedding shoes don't get dirty before the big day. If you are worried about that, then just wear shoes that are very similar in style and in height.
6What if my dress is really wide or tight?
Just notify us of the size of your dress and we will choreograph your dance specifically keeping it in mind. We have also made some practice wedding dance dresses to replicate your dress while practicing. The wedding dress is usually a big factor in how your dance will turn out.
7We don't have a song to dance to yet, what is a good song to use?
Assistance can be provided in finding a song that means something special to the both of you. We have a comprehensive list of more than 80 possible songs matched with their relative dances.
8Do we have to use a song from your wedding list?
Of course not, we are just trying to assist and simplify the process of choosing a song. If you, however, have one chosen, we can then just assist in what dance will be most suitable and start your choreography.
9How many hours do we need to prepare for our wedding dance?
A minimum of 5 hours or our 1 month package is needed to learn a basic dance for your wedding, the more intricate the dance the more hours required.
